A person has died after being trapped in a running engine at Amsterdam’s Schiphol Airport, Dutch airline KLM said.
Dutch media reported the incident on Wednesday.
The Dutch military police Marechaussee said in a tweet that it was investigating.
The investigation has not yet established who the man is, a spokesman for the Marechaussee told Reuters.

The spokesman added that it was too early to say why the incident happened. He added that all passengers and crew, who will be important witnesses to the investigation, left the plane safely.
KLM, which is part of France-KLM, also said in a statement that it was investigating the incident.
