Created to celebrate the debut of the 2024 Lexus GX, the unique display has been refitted to accommodate an array of culinary equipment and appliances, while decked out in two-tone camel leather and accented with brass, titanium and Dekton plate.
Externally, the GX show car features custom wheels; bronze accent badges, roof rails and door handles; and custom barn doors for unrestricted access to the reverse-facing pizza oven.
That oven is Monogram’s 30-inch Smart Flush Hearth Oven, which is an electric oven designed to mimic the performance and results of a traditional wood-fired brick oven.
In the trunk, you’ll also find a cooking station that includes cutlery and a trash can.
In addition, this GX is equipped with wine and bourbon storage on the outer side panels for “quick retrieval of drinking essentials,” according to Lexus.
There’s also a rear cold drawer and an additional cold console compartment in the rear seat, along with Monogram’s Forge ice press, billed as “the first and only heated ice press in the US.” Produces ice balls for drinks.
Topping it all off is a wine and spirits bar that includes a bar set, glassware, bitters and a folding cutting board.
After Australia missed out on two generations of the GX, this more luxurious cousin of the Toyota Prado finally coming Down Under in the middle of the year.
In its most expensive trim (and without a pizza oven), the third-generation GX is priced at $128,200 before on-road costs. Range starts from $116,000 before driving.
All GX models are powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.4-litre V6 petrol engine that produces 260kW of power and 650Nm of torque.
It’s mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission with low-range gears and a locking center differential, sending drive to all four wheels.
